Welcome to Room 205! Next week marks the start of a new school year for the students of W.S. Hawrylak School. As I head back to work this week, I am excited about the upcoming year (and a wee bit nervous, too). :-)
If you are a parent or a student in Room 205, this is the site to check on a regular basis, and I do mean REGULAR. Here you will be kept up-to-date about what is happening in our classroom. You will find class news, class events, homework assignments, Online Agenda, class projects, student portfolios and the list goes on and on and on.
I am a lover of technology and a firm believer that technology, when used appropriately in the classroom, is a true 'enhancer' of learning. It is the world of the students and the future they are entering into. I sure hope my students love technology as much as I do :-).
I am looking forward to next week and meeting all my new students, as well as the parents. It is going to be a great year!
