MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23: This is our Winter Survival Trip, so please come prepared. We will leave at 9:00 a.m. and return in time for the 3:37 p.m. dismissal. As we will be outdoors all day, it is important to be properly dressed. See post below this one regarding what to wear/bring.
Please watch our school web site, as I will post a message that morning if I hear our trip has been cancelled due to weather.
THIS WEEK'S ASSIGNMENTS: We will take two weeks to complete the following Online Assignments, and once again there will be some class time to work on them, but you must also do some work on your own. This will bring us to the end of Term 2 Online Assignments :-). Well done, Room 205!
TYPING WEB: Intermediate Course -> Lesson 9 -> Intermediate Wrap-up (This is the last of Term 2's lessons.)
Conceptua Math: Big Idea 5 -> Learning Equivalent Fractions. Complete the first folder (Understanding Equivalent Fractions). There are 3 lessons in this folder (5.1.1, 5.1.2 and 5.1.3).
Take your time and make sure you fully understand Big Idea 5, as this is the lesson that is going to help you understand what you need to know for the year end Math DNA test on 'decomposing numbers. Ask for help if you need it.
REMEMBER: when you are logging in, the 'customer name' is my email - firstname.lastname@example.org
Newsela: I have assigned several new articles to each group, so you can start reading them. Please read them over several times, and I will give you class time(s) the following week to do the quizzes. Remember to apply our 'summarizing' strategy as you read. This will help you with the quizzes.
RazKids: There will be no RazKids assignment this week, but you can still do some Raz reading on your own. :-)
These are not due until Sunday, March 9th, but don't leave it for the last day.
