2) October Scholastic book orders are due on Thursday, October 3.
3) Friday, October 4 is a PD day - no school for students.
4) Our Unit 1 Math test will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2013.
THIS WEEK'S ASSIGNMENTS: These are due Sunday night, October 6, 2013.
TYPING WEB: Beginner Course -> The Top Row Keys (most important is that you have your fingers on the correct keys. Do not worry about speed. That will come later as you learn the keys. The payback will be later on :-).
RazKids: You need to read one more book this week and answer the quizzes.
Conceptua Math: Big Idea 1 -> Understanding Fractions. Complete the second folder (Write Fractions) - 5 lessons. REMEMBER: when you are logging in, the 'customer name' is my email - jporritt@accesscomm.ca
There will be some time to work on these in class, but some will also have to be done from home, so do not leave it until the last minute.
MATH VIDEOS: This week we will be working on Lessons 1.7 (Understanding Equality) and 1.8 (Keeping Equations Balanced). WE WILL BE HAVING OUR UNIT 1 MATH TEST ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9TH. :-)
