W.S. Hawrylak (Grades 6-8) has agreed to participate in a research study called Young Canadians in a Wired World. This study is being conducted by MediaSmarts, Canada's Centre for Digital and Media Literacy AND is completely voluntary. Your son/daughter will be bringing home information today and a consent form. If your son/daughter is interested in completing the survey, and they have signed permission, we will be taking the survey in class one day this week. It is completely voluntary and no names will be collected. We will take the survey electronically, and no answers will be seen by anyone except the research team.
Please read over the information brought home, and if you decide to let your son/daughter participate, please sign and return the consent form tomorrow.
