We will be having our Unit 3 - Decimal Math test on Thursday, January 17th, 2013. The concepts that will be covered on the test are:
1) Reading and writing numbers with decimal places beyond thousandths.
2) Estimating products and quotients with decimals.
3) Multiplying decimals by a whole number.
4) Dividing a decimal by a 1-digit whole number.
The students can find Extra Practice sheets for Unit 3 in the Student Handout folder of their DropBox. Another good way to prepare is to do some practice questions from the IXL site listed on our Math Support page: IXL site: http://ca.ixl.com/standards/saskatchewan/math/grade-6 The first 9 lessons of 6.1.8 cover concepts from Unit 3.
