Don't forget that Monday is a holiday! It will be a short week again this week, and I am not going to assign ANY online assignments - SumDog or otherwise. That doesn't mean you can't still 'practice' skills or try to improve scores such as TypingWeb scores. Our focus for the next few weeks will be to continue practising our long division and multiplication skills, so if you have any 'free' time at home, I encourage you to create some questions and work them out. You can use a calculator to check your answers. We will continue to have several little class quizzes each week in this area. Grade 7s, you will also be completing your online Treaty Assessment this week.
Grade 6s, you will be having your Math Unit 8 quiz on Thursday of this week, and Grade 7, your Math Unit 6 quiz will be on Monday, May 28th. That will leave Unit 7 on Data Collection and Probability for both Grade 6 and Grade 7.
Don't forget these upcoming dates:
Tuesday, May 22 - Science TakeHome Activity 4 due
Thursday, May 24 - Grade 6 Math test
Friday, May 25 - Color Splash Spirit Day - Gr. 6 white, Gr. 7 pink
Monday, May 28 - Grade 7 Math test
Thursday, May 31 - Language Arts Weebly Projects Completed
Friday, June 1 - PD Day - No School for Students (I will be starting report cards on this day, so be sure to have all assignments up-to-date.)
Weather permitting, we will begin (and maybe even finish) our mask-making this week! :-) Enjoy the rest of your long weekend, and I will see you on Tuesday, May 22 :-).
