Note that some of the assignments are for more than just this this week. Some will take you two weeks to complete and others even longer.
We will continue with Section 3 of our novels this week and will finish on Thursday, December 8. Remember that Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week are our 'Novel Technology' days.
TypingWeb: This week, I would like you to finish the second lesson in the Intermediate Lessons. I will also be checking to make sure you have done some weekend typing.
TenMarksMath: Both grades will be doing assignments on Fractions. I have assigned 'complete folders,' so I have given the Grade 6s four weeks worth of assignments and the Grade 7s only two weeks worth. Please complete at least one lesson a week.
RazKids: You will need to read at least one book and answer the quiz this week.
ThatQuiz6, ThatQuiz7: There will be no quizzes this month. In the month of December we will focus on Fractions in both 10MarksMath and Conceptua Fractions, and that will be enough! :-).
ConceptuaMath: Folder 3 (Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions) You need to complete the first sub-folder (Mixed Numbers) inside Folder 3(Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions) this week. There are four lessons inside this folder, so do not leave this until the last minute!
I will give you class time to work on your online assignments on Thursday of this week. Don't forget that Friday is a PD day, and there will be no classes that day, so this would be a great day to finish all your Online Assignments and have a free weekend!
We will also have time to finish November Home READing projects on Thursday, so make sure you have everything you need at school. They will be due on Monday, December 5. I am going to give you a break in the month of December. I most definitely want you to continue to read at home on a regular, daily basis, but there will be no book project due this month. You deserve a break! :-) If you chose the month of December to present, please select another month for after the break.
